I am happy to announce Budweiser has released their newest Project 12 beers. What exactly is Project 12 you might ask? It is the Budweiser brewmaster innovation platform that resulted in the introduction of Budweiser Black Crown earlier in the year. Now it is back with three new beers named after the zip codes where they were brewed.
All three beers, feature the signature yeast, allowing the brews to maintain Budweiser’s signature clean, crisp taste, but with new unique, flavor profiles.
I was lucky enough to taste test these brand new beers. I was attending an upcoming family gathering and was able to share the brews with them! We all had a blast talking, laughing, eating, snacking, drinking, playing games and taste testing these three unique beers. I have some Budweiser fans in my family, so they were more than over joyed to try out the Project 12 beers.
I have to admit, they took this very seriously. Each person sampled from the three beers and gave me their feedback on each one. Overall, we did have a favorite. It was the Vanilla Bourbon Cask, Batch 23185. This lighter beer was very smooth. It did not have as strong of a hops aftertaste.
The others were deeper beers. The Beechwood Bock, Batch 43229, came in 2nd place. It was also smooth and very crisp.
North Pacific Lager, Batch 94534, had a strong hops aftertaste. This is the perfect beer for someone who likes a strong hops flavor!
We all had a fun time learning each others preference of the beers and trying them out. It was a perfect way to be with friends and family, all the while enjoying Budweiser’s special edition Project 12 beers!
Here is part of the gang! We are all gathering and getting ready to start sampling Budweiser’s Project 12 beers
Budweiser never disappoints and we drank the new beers in sample glasses, complete with linen coasters and a slate serving board, where I wrote the zip codes to where each beer was from
Let the sampling begin! We were all eager to pop open the bottles and start taste testing. We tried the Vanilla Bourbon Cask 23185 first.
This was the overall favorite.
Conversations started about the taste, flavor and preference of each beer.
This is where it became serious as the intensity of the discussion escalated.
Beechwood Bock Batch 43229 was a favorite for this guy. He liked the blend of hops, along with how crisp the blend tasted.
Vanilla Bourbon Cask, Batch 23185 was a favorite among many. This beer had a lighter flavorful and went down nice and smooth.
Cheers to the new limited edition Project 12 beers!
I fell in love with the slate board and wrote the zip codes of each city the beers were brewed in. This also works for a cheese and bread serving platter.
North Pacific Lager, 94534 (On the left) : Brewed with a unique blend of North Pacific hop varieties, including Cascade and Paliside, this bold hoppy lager offers a distinct taste of the American Northwest and has a 5.5% ABV brewed from Fairfield, CA.
Beechwood Bock, 43229 (Middle) : Brewed with chocolate and caramel malts for a rich auburn appearance and finished on Beechwood chips for a crisp, clean taste; this deep amber lager has a 6% ABV from Columbus, OH.
Vanilla Bourbon Cask, 23185 (Right) : Aged on a bed of bourbon barrel staves and vanilla beans, this light amber lager indulges the sweet side and features a 5.5% ABV from Williamsburg, VA.
