I had the opportunity to try out and review the Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar and Stain Remover from Purex. I have heard about this product before through the grape vine but have never had the chance to try it out! I was so excited to see how well this bar worked as a stain remover. I was surprised with how convenient this laundry bar is. No extra work and it takes care of serious stains!

Going into this, I wanted to test Fels-Naptha full force. I had a sweatshirt of mine that was stained with salsa. Yes, when I opened the jar of salsa, it decided to have a fiesta all over me and go everywhere! It left a nice, big old stain on my sweatshirt.
The other culprit was a pair of white shorts. These receive a grease stain that would not budge.
Once I had my two items to experiment with, I began the process. It is very easy and I am ashamed I have not used this laundry bar before!
First step: Wet the stain with water
Second Step: Use the Fels-Naptha bar and rub it thoroughly into the stain
Third Step: Wait one minute before placing clothes into the washer
Fourth Step: Throw the clothes into the laundry and wash as you normally would
Here are the items once they were finished washing! The stain completely came out of the white pants! My sweatshirt still had a vague residue from the stain, but I know it will disappear after a couple more washes. I was blown away how easy this process was and how well the laundry bar worked. It is so easy to just rub the bar onto the clothes and toss into the washer!
