February 13th, 2022 saw the Los Angeles Rams emerge at the top of the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI. The wait after 7 months without good football is almost over as people have had time to endure since then. The NFL has since been a busy and thrilling atmosphere as betting sites have been tracking shakers and movers ahead of the upcoming season. Many people can’t wait to see who will take the glory of the Vince Lombardi Trophy home.

The Super Bowl

Since 1967, the Super Bowl has taken place every year and has always clashed between the American Football Conference and the National Football Conference winners to decide on who proceeds to the NFL. When it comes to the super bowl odds count, the New England Patriots have played in the most NFL Super Bowls, 11 in total since 2001, and have won 6 of them.

The all-time champions share the record for the most league titles with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Rams have been the current holders of Super Bowl LVI since February, and they maintain it. Who can claim it from them? Do they still have the odds of winning the NFL this season? Here is a look at the top favorite contenders for the Vince Lombardi Trophy as the new season approaches:

Buffalo Bills

It took one coin toss to essentially decide the Bill’s heartbreaking overtime loss to the Kansas Chiefs in the previous divisional round of the past season’s playoffs. Quarterback Josh Allen put up a stunning play that significantly impacted the Buffalo Bill’s roster this summer, contributing to the minimal turnover in the new season. The team is undeniably better off being on the receiving end now that James Cook has been drafted to push and complement Devin Singletary in the middle run.Von Miller is also on board to address setbacks in the pass rush. The roster adjustments make the Buffalo Bills a solid bet for the NFL, seeing how good they impress across various facets of the game.

Buccaneers of Tampa Bay

The 2022 NFL super bowl odds for this season looks like it will be written off completely for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Their story changed immensely in the last minute of a couple of weeks when Tom Brady changed his mind about retiring and catapulted the team back to the NFL’s favorites for the Super Bowl. Ideally, the pass-rush for the Buccaneers doesn’t look as good as before, especially with center Ryan Jensen’s injury. The fact that Ndamukong Suh is still not back on the defense means the team may not perform as well as before. However, the continuity across the roster is still incredible enough to make the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a second favorite for NFL fans, especially in the NFC.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers also impressed with new ways of offending and defending to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy. They’ve also made efforts to assemble an intriguing collection of cornerbacks and pass rushers, among other important roles. All of the aforementioned teams have plenty of playing space to create and fill gaps on the field in order to win. One can only wait and see as the super bowl odds make it blurry to predict the exact outcome at face value.
