Quick Fix For Vents

For awhile some of my vents have been bugging me. They were stained and the color was very faded. Something which is not appealing at all. It might be one of those things where only I noticed it and no one else, but I did not want to take that chance.

There was no way I was going to buy new vents, so I decided to spray paint them. My favorite do-it-yourself projects always involve spray paint. So I unscrewed the vents, went to the garage and started spraying with my white matte paint. I used the cheap .97 cent cans at Wal-Mart

Within minutes the paint completely covered the stains and left a beautiful coat of white, which looked brand new! I let the vents dry for at least a good hour each. Once dry, I screwed them back into the wall and ta-da! “New” vents to show off!

My multi-colored and stained old vent.

This is not appealing at all!

I unscrewed the vent and evenly spray painted it white

I let it sit for at least an hour to dry

Once dry, I screwed the vent back into the wall and it looks brand new

Such an easy fix!
