It’s a classic body horror that stars Lupita Nyong’o as a woman who a group of doppelgängers stalks after a family vacation goes awry. While the film has some very terrifying jump scares, it also deals with how society can create monsters out of its most vulnerable members. The doppelgängers represent the worst in humanity – people who have become so obsessed with their privilege that they have no empathy for others.

The Twilight Zone (2019)
Peele’s reboot of The Twilight Zone is the third film on our best Peele movies list. The anthology series Peele is hosting has been a favorite of horror fans since its original run in the ’50s. This show’s version features some incredibly talented actors in genuinely terrifying stories. While it’s too early to know whether or not Peele’s reboot will achieve the same cult status as the original, its first season left us wanting more. Now we’re getting into some unknown territory. However, not many people will have heard of Marble: The Game. This is a parody app that Peele created in 2014 as a satire about people obsessed with social media and status. The premise is that you’re trapped inside a giant ball of marble. Your only chance of escape is to roll your marble to the top. However, other marbles are trying to push you back down. BlacKkKlansman (2018)
BlacKkKlansman is the seventh Peele movie on our list of the best films by the director. This biographical drama is based on the true story of Ron Stallworth – a black police officer who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan. BlacKkKlansman won many accolades when it came out in theaters in 2018. It was nominated for three Golden Globes, including Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Director, and a win for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for John David Washington. Despite being an earnest movie, BlacKkKlansman also has some hilarious moments. Check out Ron’s first meeting with the Klan on a phone line: He’s forced to use a wrong impression of a stereotypical black person as his cover identity. Peele’s movie is a reminder of how dark and dangerous the Klan was – but also how ridiculous they were simultaneous.
