Mykonos Island
Mykonos Island has a nightlife scene to rival Ibizas and is one of the most popular party scenes in the world. Wherever you go in Mykonos Town, you will never be far from a bar or a nightclub, bursting with music and frivolity. Head to the main beaches of Paradise, Super Paradise and Paranga where there are all-night parties, or to the world-famous Cavo Paradiso, an open-air superclub which hosts many top DJs, including Robin Schulz and Benny Benassi.
Santorini
When we think of Santorini, we imagine quaint little white buildings perched precariously on the side of cliffs, but what many people don’t know is that the area has a thriving nightlife. Head to Fira, the capital of the island, where you will find plenty of clubs and bars open from dusk until dawn. For a sophisticated night out, the Tango Cocktail Bar, situated at the caldera rim is the place to go. Dripping with elegance and serving a vast range of extravagant cocktails and champagne, you can enjoy dreamy views over the dark sea and sparkling town.
Paros
Naoussa and Parikia are the two largest villages on Paros Island and has a massive abundance of vibrant nightclubs and cosmopolitan bars, offering all-night fun. It is just a few hours on the ferry from Athens, so it is becoming increasingly popular with university students in the summer. Rhodes
We tend to associate Rhodes with a strong historical and cultural background, but surprisingly, it is one of the best of the Greek islands for partying. In the Old Town, there is a mix of quiet bars for a romantic date for two or nightclubs for a wild and unforgettable night. Faliraki is well known for its wild nightlife and is home to Ziggys, where the fishbowl was invented. However, if you are looking for something a little different, head to Hippocrates Square for a quirky mix of tavernas and eateries.
Corfu
When the sun goes down on Corfu, you will be spoilt for choice. From the historic Old Town which has plenty of chic bars for a laid back drink with friends, to big nights out at the Edem Club in the village of Dassia. Kavos and Sidari are also popular amongst British tourists, with beach parties, celebrated DJs and open-air clubs.
Athens
When the Acropolis lights up, it’s time to put on your glad rags and head out into the city. Ios
Easy to get to from Athens, and packed with wonderful beaches and crazy carefree bars, Ios is one of the best Greek islands for parties. During the peak season, the beaches and clubs in Chora are busy all day and all night, pumping out international beats. Disco 69 has been going for forty years and shows no sign of quietening down. From some oldies-but-goodies to the latest hits, the DJs that spin the decks at Disco 69 know how to get a crowd going, whatever their nationality.
Kardamena, Kos
Kardamena is one of the lesser-known partying spots in Greece, but get there quickly because it won’t be before long! If you fancy something with an English vibe, Bar Street is where you want to be heading, with its pubs and late-night clubs, but for an all-round Kos party experience, the Downtown Club is the perfect place for all-night dancing and an old school vibe to its playlist.
