Vacuuming on hard floors and carpets
Moving on to the carpet shredder, the Pure One S15 does a good job with fine to large-sized debris. This is due to the design of the cleaning head. The front of the brush roll turns into areas that contact the floor and into the voids where dirt and debris are sucked into the vacuum. When vacuuming on hard floors, the design would cause the Pure One S15 to suck large debris around.
Dust Sensing Technology
Like the vacuum, Tineco equips the S15 with its iLoop sensor technology. The first to incorporate this type of technology was the Dyson, a much more expensive cordless vacuum.
Hair detangling technology
Tineco has added Zero Tangle Technology to the anti-tangle hair community in the Pure One S15, where a row of small combs on the vacuum’s brush roll housing prevents both long and long hair from tangling.
Filtration
The Pure One S15 design also features a premium five-stage filtration system in each, which is a sealed high-efficiency system.
The five stages are a main weave that separates particles, a mesh filter that traps hair and dust, Tineco’s Pure Cyclone that removes dust, and a motor Pre-Filter that removes fine dust, HEPA filter.
Again, a comprehensive filtration system that works this well is something that is usually only found on high-end cordless vacuums.
Power and charging base
Tineco says all S15 cordless vacuums have a cleaning time of 40 minutes in Auto mode. This means owners of the former get 80 cleaning minutes due to its second power.
40 minutes is the average compared to just over 60 cordless vacuums the user has tested. In addition, there should be enough time for most houses.
Tineco is a unique base for it. Unlike the V-mounted chargers used in most sticks, the S15 has a freestanding base, called a line-free stand. A heavy foundation holds the vacuum upright and all its accessories.
Activity measurement
Even with the heavier-than-average handle weight, we found the Pure One S15 to be easy to use. All users love the short-style handle and find the way it rotates well-designed. It has just the right amount of movement, allowing it to get in and out of tight spaces with precision.
