One of the best things about Mallorca is its majestic beaches and coves lapped by magical turquoise waters. These scenic beaches are tucked away in coves, offering a peaceful and quiet setting to enjoy the calm of the sea. From its impressive landscapes to stunning cliffs, caves, and coasts, Mallorca has so many unique attractions that attract visitors from all over the world. While in Mallorca, you can enjoy both cosmopolitan and village life. Because of its rich history, quaint villages, delicious food, and city life, Mallorca is one of the best tourist destinations on earth.

How to get there?

Flying to Mallorca from all major European cities – London, Paris, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Berlin, or Munich – is usually affordable and easy. Some of the renowned airlines that operate in the region are Ryanair, Easyjet, and Eurowings. You should keep in mind that these low-cost airlines have limited luggage allowances. Most of them allow only one piece of hand luggage for free. You can carry additional items with you by paying an extra amount.

Renting a car is a good idea

Getting a rented car in Mallorca will give you the freedom to explore the island to its fullest and save you time and trouble. We’d recommend a smaller car because most of the roads in Mallorca are narrow and small. You can travel by van but it will be a little bit tricky and will consume more time.

Start from PALMA

With almost half of the island’s population, Palma is the biggest city of Mallorca. Palma has so many attractions. Catedral de Mallorca is one of them. This striking cathedral is located in the heart of Palma. Don’t miss out on this amazing place.

Another incredible place you can visit during your stay in Palma is Can Forteza Ray. In this historical place, you can see art nouveau and several other remarkable decorations. Royal Palace of La Almudaina, Plaza Mayor, and Parc de la Mar are some of this city’s other stunning sites. You can grab some traditional Sobrassada sandwiches from Café la Lonja.

Best Beaches

Illetas Beach and El Molinar are two stunning beaches located southeast of Palma. Cocco Portixol and Izizi Nunnak are the restaurants that offer the best lunch in the area. In the south-west, Puro Beach Club provides a perfect beach view and fantastic food.

Torre de Cala Pi is another favourite beach spot located in the southeast of the main island. Over there, you will find a stone staircase that will take you down to the sandy beach.

Caló del Moro is one of the best beaches in Europe, which offers some of the best sceneries. Cala s’Almunia is another equally beautiful beach where you can enjoy cliff jumping as well. Other renowned beaches are Cala Mondragó, Cala d’Or, and Cala Varques.

Nightlife of Mallorca

Many people visit Mallorca just to enjoy its spirited nightlife. If you want to enjoy cocktails and funky music, the LAB bar is for you. On the other hand, Bar Cuba is a trendy dance club with DJ music and expensive drinks. Mega Park is another attraction on this island. It is Europe’s largest open-air beer garden and famous for night parties.
