For those who wish to prepare a quick and healthy veggie pizza at home, here’s something worth a shot. Since pizza making has become a hobby for many self-learned cooks, who are always in a hunch for some savvy options to experiment at home, I will walk you through an easy recipe that will surprise you with the final output indeed.

- A readymade Pizza base
- Readymade Pizza sauce
- Freshly cut Capsicum, 1/4th cup
- Freshly chopped onion rings, 1/4th cup
- Half Cup grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4th cup grated Cheddar Cheese
- Black Mediterranean Canned Olives- 4-5
- Dried Basil and oregano for seasoning
Note: All the aforementioned Ingredients are easily available in your locale. You may pick a pizza base from your nearest supermarket. Likewise, you may find a suitable Pizza sauce too. I use Cremica Pizza sauce. It is easily available in the market and tastes great.
Prepare the pizza base by coating the base with a layer of Pizza Sauce, evenly across the surface of the readymade pizza base you choose. Make sure to use a pizza base that is soft, fluffy and don’t forget to make some holes on the surface with the help of a knife. This will help the sauce to seep in when you heat it in the microwave.
Once you’re done spreading the pizza sauce nice and smooth across the surface of the pizza base, you now move ahead with the process of adding the toppings.
We are using capsicum, olives and onions in this recipe.
Chop the capsicum into small pieces and sauté them in a pan for two minutes on low heat. Do the same with the chopped onion rings. Make sure you get that brown color when sautéing. Once done, sprinkle the veggies evenly across the pizza base. You need not do anything to the olives. Add them directly to the pizza base.
After adding the toppings, it is time for you to you move ahead and add the grated Mozzarella cheese. Spread it across the pizza base evenly.
Now you are ready with the pizza skeleton. All you need to do next is simply microwave this for almost 3-6 minutes at a 200 Degree Celsius. Observe the process and keep a note of the cheese melting. Once done, take it out and spread the grated Cheddar evenly.
Heat the base again for a couple of minutes and take it out.
Dress the pizza with a hint of basil and oregano.
