I had the opportunity to review the New OxiClean Extremem Power Crystals Dishwasher Detergent. My personal experience with the OxiClean brand has been with laundry detergent. I was surprised and happy to learn that they make dishwasher detergent!
When I first saw the bottle, I was shocked to see the shape of it. It looked like a body wash bottle. I am used to dishwasher detergent packaged in cardboard boxes. This was a nice change to see. What grabbed my attention was the information on the bottle. 20 loads are covered in this 12.7oz bottle. It is also concentrated with 4X Extreme Power Crystals, meaning you use less detergent versus the leading gel or powder we are all used to. I was already impressed with this information and could not wait to give it a try!
I grabbed a dish of mine that had mustard spread all over it. I intentionally did this, because I wanted to put this to the ultimate test. The mustard was thick, and crusty, sticking to the plate. I threw in the plate with my other dishes and filled the main cup in my dishwasher only halfway! Because the cleaning is so powerful, it requires less of the detergent.
I ran my dishwasher and once it was done, I started to empty it. I pulled the plate out and it was completely clean! There was not one spec or trace of the dirty, gooey, and crusty mustard that covered the plate only a couple hours before. (gilberteyecare.com) I was expecting some kind of leftover spots that I would have to remove, but no! OxiClean Extreme Power Crystals did the job 100% for me. I definitely give this product my seal of approval and am so excited to keep using this detergent! It now has a special place in my cleaning cupboard, right up front!
