Chennai to New Delhi by Flight

Nowadays traveling has become an important aspect of an individual’s life, some pursue it as a professional while some prefer it as a hobby and while others have to travel officially or for a break from routine and explore.  The best way to travel a long distance within a short period of time is by airways. Traveling by airway is efficient as it faster means of transport with minimized risk of accident than any other means of transport, it also benefits the economy and is an additional aid towards safety and health. I did my last travel from Chennai to Delhi flight

Talking about that flight which started from Chennai and ended at New Delhi, the code for Chennai airport is MAA, spread over 1323 acres of land its 4th busiest airport of India after Delhi, Mumbai & Bengaluru, it is located in Meenambakkam i.e. approximately 21 km from the center of the city. There are 4 entrance gates at Chennai airport 2 at each terminal, the visitors are allowed inside the airport after paying the tariff of 60 rupees.  It is well connected to airport metro station of Chennai Metro and Tirusulam railway station of Chennai Suburban Railway System.

As the flight took off from Chennai  all that could visible of Chennai was Green trees and the Coastline as the flight pierced into sky leading into dense white cloud and sunshine peering through them was a blissful moment, soon the airlines started catering and it almost took around 2 hrs 45 min to reach the New Delhi Airport. As soon as I got off the plane a huge blast of warm and dry air could be sensed but soon was on a bus that took me from runway to the airport.

Arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, the airport is huge and vast and never-ending loaded with highly advanced machinery and a lot of services, spread across in 5,106 acres of land this airport has 3 terminals well connected with means of transportation like metro, public transport, and railway station. It is the busiest airport of India and 6th busiest airport in Asia by passenger traffic handling nearly 70 million passengers; it is the world’s busiest airport for Airbus A320 aircraft. It has been awarded as Best Airport in Central Asia at prestigious Skytrax World Airport Awards. It is located in Palam, about 16 km away from the center of New Delhi.

There are various means of traveling nowadays, but as the world is developing and growing rapidly people started to adopt the tendency of making it quick to the desired location and due to airways it is being possible to travel miles away within a short period of time like the Chennai to Delhi flight. As the airfare nowadays getting reduced to affordable prices and many competitors are in the race it is getting even affordable. By the way booking tickets for your travel has now become easy as everything is available in fingertips I found my helping partner for booking which not only helped me a book but also helped in getting it at cheap price along with various kinds of offers.
