For me, Fall and Halloween are my favorite crafting seasons. Last year I had a candy corn theme. I made Candy Corn Mason Jars. So when I was asked to make a craft with the help of Starburst Candy Corn and Tori Spelling, I was thrilled! I have always been a huge fan of Tori Spelling. I watch her shows, think she is a great Mom, is so creative and just perfect! Tori has a list of different crafts to make for the season and I got to choose one of my favorites!
I chose to make a candy corn picture frame. I had such an enjoyable time crafting this frame together. All I had to do was attach the candy corn pieces using a glue gun. I love the outcome and have it proudly displayed for everyone to see. Tori’s tips and crafts on decorating for the season.
My supplies: Glue gun, Starburst Candy Corn and a flat picture frame
I started out by sorting the candy corn. I wanted my frame to have fall colors, so I chose yellow and orange.
First, I did a trial run and placed the candy corns along the frame, alternating directions. I did this to make sure the candy corn would fit onto the frame and that they would be evenly spaced out.
Once the candy corns were placed onto the frame, I started hot gluing the candy corn. Just a dab of glue was all I needed and they stuck right away.
I made sure to press the candy corn into the spot where it was being placed. I pressed for a couple seconds to made sure they would not move.
Once I had all the candy corns glued in place, I let the frame dry.
I then inserted a picture for fall and my frame was complete!
I love how it turned out, it is so festive!
I cannot wait to switch it out and put in a Halloween picture.
This is such a creative and fun craft, it will be sure to make a statement!
