4 Unique Health and Fitness Tips

Did you know injuries are just but instigators? Frailty is a more lethal culprit. There is an inverse relationship between how our bodies recuperate and how strong we are. This is why doctors recommend a balanced workout schedule that incorporates cardio, strength and flexibility training. If you are considering staying fit and healthy, the best way to do this is not to crash diets, starve yourself or even slave exercising.

So if you need to stay healthy what should you do?

Drink More Water

The sight of a soft drink advert on your T.V set. I mean a flawless shirtless muscled guy sweating after a gratifying gym session downing a bottle of soda can be so tempting. Even worse the god’s of the sun are not doing you any favor as the thankless sun is atrociously shining. The urge to grab that soft drink can be so intimidating.

The best way to improve your health is to ditch the soft drink. Instead, drink a lot of water, and the benefits are amazing. A recent study indicated that most average adults only take 2 glasses of water. That is disheartening considering doctors recommend we need 8 to 10 glasses per day. Next time you consider drinking beverages consider this weird fact. Your body stores water weight full of harmful toxins when dehydrated. Yes, that’s true! Drinking water ensures that all these harmful toxins are washed away from your body.

Swap Supplements for Tea

Natural green tea is an excellent path to take in boosting your health. Additionally, if you are seeking to lose weight, this is your perfect match. Not only does it stoke your body metabolism it contains the valuable catechins concentrates which is an antioxidant said to counter heart diseases and cancer.

With regular cups of natural green tea supplements, the possibilities are endless. For those whose family lineage has a deficiency in the genes of liking tea, you can try creative ways such as fusing oatmeal into your tea or even better incorporating it in a smoothie. You mean you didn’t know you could do that?!! Shame on you.

Delay Dessert

For the chocolate lovers, this is for you. I know you would take a bullet for your chocolate bar. I am not saying that you need to do way with your “Romeo” completely (I mean where will Juliet go?) it’s perfectly tolerable for you to indulge but in moderation. Of importance is to try and abstain from the sweets immediately after dinner. Sweets impinge the absorption of nutrients. You don’t want food stalling in your tummy for hours, do you??!! Consider eating sweet 2 hours after your meal.

Fibers

My grandmother is over 80 years now. The lady has successfully set the record in our family as she has all her teeth. My 3 molars have succumbed to decay in my short lifespan of 35 years. You will be stupefied by the fantastic breakfast that my grandma takes. Her breakfast incorporates 2 bananas, 1 orange, 2 apples and an omelet. She downs this with 3 glasses of water.

Fibers such as fruits, veggies, and salads have a myriad of merits over junk food. They are a complete diet. They give you a peerless amount of refreshment and energy, and it will make your tummy feel replete.

Our bodies degenerate as we age. Living an unhealthy lifestyle is not a problem, not re-engineering our lifestyles is. It’s never too late to go back to the drawing board considering a continued unfit, unhealthy lifestyle increases the chances of living a derelict lifestyle in our old age.

Instead of enjoying your pension, you might spend a whole lot of that time bitterly lying on a couch. These tips may come as a little too early to worry about but take that small leap of faith and thank me in your 80’s when you will be playing with your grandkids
