Trainers and dieticians don’t just help people when it comes to living their best lives, they also incorporate their tips into their own lives. Some of their top tips are also easily doable, which means that living well doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to overhaul your entire daily life.

When it comes to getting healthier, it isn’t just about picking up some fresh flowers at the farmer’s market, sweating to death in one of those 90-minute hot yoga classes, or chugging nothing but kale smoothies.

Here’s a quick look at some tips to help you get healthier without changing your entire life.

Drop the Cigarettes

Ok, this one might take some doing. Statistics show that each year more than 480,000 people die from smoking or being around second-hand smoke. By now, we should all know that smoking doesn’t just harm you, it harms everyone around you.

If you want to make things easier for those in your immediate area, try vaping with juices from companies like ZampleBox. This is a way for you to get that nicotine you crave while also ensuring that you aren’t harming anyone else with second-hand smoke. You can get the e-liquid in a variety of flavors and nicotine strengths, and you’re able to get just the right vape to fit your lifestyle and personality.

Exercise

Another thing you can do to get healthier is to be more active. You can do this by exercising or going to the gym.  Regular physical activity can boost your endurance and improve your muscle strength. Exercise delivers nutrients to your tissues, oxygen all over your body, and assists the cardiovascular system when it comes to working efficiently. Additionally, when your lung and heart health improves, you’ll have more energy to get you through the day.

Drink Water

There are so many reasons to drink water that water should be everyone’s BFF. Each morning you should have a glass of water before ingesting anything else. Remaining hydrated means our bodies stay healthier on a cellular level. It can also help with the fight against overeating. We can often mistake being thirsty for being hungry. This can lead to getting more calories from food than our bodies need.

Never leave home without a water bottle. You should strive to drink a minimum of 3 full bottles of water each day. Getting dehydrated can lead to things like a lack of energy, headaches, and feeling hungry. Making sure that you have water with you at all times makes it a bit easier to remain hydrated.

Fresh Air

Getting fresh air is critical for your mental health. You should stop to smell the flowers, or at a minimum, get out and walk by a few. Even if you just leave the office for a 10-minute walk around the block, that little break can give you more energy and reset your mood to one that’s more positive.

Don’t Get Distracted While Eating

Something that’s a bit easier said than done is mindful eating. However, it’s worth doing. We can’t always escape the electronics while eating, but you should try to get about 15 minutes to eat something while you’re free from distractions. This allows for you to both really taste and really appreciate what you’re ingesting. Even more important, you’ll be better able to pay more attention to your satiety cues, which makes it easier to stop eating when you no longer feel hunger.

By simply making a few changes to your daily activities, you can begin to feel healthier in no time. You don’t even need to do everything at once. Pick one or two and then add more as you get used to the new things.
