This recipe has been in my family ever since I was born. My Mom has passed this recipe down to me and I will guard it with my life. This is a family favorite and tradition. The Ramen Noodle Salad is a legend. I made this for my work potluck party and it was a hit. It is rare if you leave having leftovers. I used to make this just to eat as a snack its so delicious. It has the perfect amount of crunch, sweetness and flavor. This recipe takes about 15 minutes to prepare, which is always a bonus! Cheap, delicious, convenient and easy! The best combination all rolled into one. This addictive dish will leave you and your guests pleading for more!

The group of ingredients for the salad and dressing

Break up ramen noodles and combine all salad ingredients. Mix dressing ingredients and pour over salad 20-30 minutes before serving.

Ingredients:

Dressing:

  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 seasoning packets from Ramen Noodles (1 beef and 1 chicken)

Salad:

  • 1 beef ramen noodles
  • 1 chicken ramen noodles
  • 3-4 green onions
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 large package (16oz) coleslaw

How To Make:

  1. Break up Ramen Noodle very finely
  2. Combine all salad ingredients
  3. Pour dressing over salad and mix thoroughly just before serving. (I will add the dressing 20-30 minutes beforehand.)
