With summer only less than a month away, it’s time to reluctantly say hello to the unbeatable sun rays, the inexplicable heat, and the warm winds that’ll dominate our days.  Of course that comes with the inevitable rise in every home’s electric bill as keeping cool will be at the top of everyone’s priority. For this reason, the people are encouraged to use resources that works on solar energy here in the Philippines to save money, energy and continuously endorse ecological ways to help save Mother Earth.

Speaking of the upcoming heat wave, it’s no doubt that everyone has already planned their summer getaway in paradise; the salty sea, the sands in the strands of your hair, the majestic beaches that captures every stunning sunrise and sunsets, and all outdoor activities that you can think of under bright sunny days.

But in alignment with this, there are also dangers that lurks under the sun which everyone should know before laying under its dominant rays, which are:

  2. Getting dry skin
  3. Heat Stroke

Drink lots of water

Remember that you should stay hydrated all the time. Drinking of 6-8 glasses of water is highly recommendable in this season. Avoid drinking alcohol, coffee, and other carbonated beverages. Drinking these kind of beverages while under a high temperature may lead to dehydration.

Moisturize

Don’t forget to apply on your favorite moisturizer before getting under the sun. Moisturizing the skin will be an aid to avoid getting a dry skin. Besides, wo wants their skin dry, eh? Putting on sunscreens are also recommended during summer. Just remember to check if it contains SPF or PA+ in it. It will greatly help your skin be protected from the harmful rays of the sun.

Exercise

Exercising in this kind of weather will surely be a struggle to most people. Adjusting the time of your exercise from morning to evening will be the best solution to this. This will keep you safe from the deadly heat and at the same time aid you to stay fit and healthy throughout summer. Besides, you have always dreamt of having that perfect summer body. Staying under the sun too long will not only damage your skin but can make you ill that can lead to heat stroke. Staying indoors during the hottest times of the day is best throughout this season. Last but surely not the least, eating right this summer is necessary to stay healthy. You know the drill; choose to eat more vegetables and fruits that will help you stay fit.
