City Centre to Check In Last Minute

When landing in a new destination, it can sometimes be difficult and daunting to figure out the best method of making your way into the city centre.

Some modes of transport are cheap but can take an age to make it to their destination. Others are convenient but can cost you more than you are willing to pay.

Luckily, Lastminute have created a graphic that details the time and cost of varying modes of transport in some of the world busiest airports.

Most notably, although Uber is commonly thought to be the cheaper option, taking a taxi from airports in New York and Rome can save you some extra spending money due to price caps being in place to and from the airports. It is also worth bearing in mind that some locations, such as Barcelona, don’t offer Uber as a service.

The train, although perhaps not always as direct, is a good option from airports such as Paris being both the quickest into the city and nearly the cheapest option. It is also a good option to consider going to the city from Sydney. Although it is not necessarily the cheapest option, it certainly is the quickest and seems to be the most reasonable.

Keep in mind that there is no direct train line running from Los Angeles, with you first having to take a bus to the nearest train station and subsequent changes to get to the city. Not easy when dragging around luggage!

The bus across the board seems to be the longest mode of transport but great for those who are on a tight budget. Almost always coming in as the cheapest option, it is a good choice for those who have more time to spare and potentially wish to see more of the city.

Whatever your time constraints and budget, there is an option for you.City Centre last minute check in
