Personal Life Of The Students

Do you feel like having some leisure time is that luxury you cannot afford? Does it feel like studying has taken up the most of your time and left no room for friends and fun? Do you sometimes feel like you are suffocating from the heavy academic workload?

Believe us, if so, then you are not alone in this. Most students feel the same way unless they neglect the necessity of studying well. (Tadalafil)

Or maybe you are not a student yet. You have recently received a letter that you were accepted to one (or maybe even several) colleges, and have just started packing your bags for the campus. But you know how different students complain that they have no time for social life whatsoever. So, there is no time for fun, and you feel intimidated with such a future ahead of you.

This thought has probably scared you a lot.

And even though we understand this pain, as we have all been there, we also know that there is a solution to this issue. And this solution is in learning how to manage your time.

You wonder how to organize things correctly? We have an answer for you. So, check out our list – and gain valuable knowledge from it!

Tips on how to learn and have time for fun

  1. Always have a schedule.

If you think that having a planner is something busy moms would do to be able to handle many different tasks altogether, then you are wrong.

Planning is not a dull task old boring people do daily. It can really make your life easier.

So, all you need to create a good schedule is a pen and a planner (a real one, though). But if you are way too much into the modern technologies and are a typical representative of the youth that never lets his smartphone out of his hands, then consider downloading special apps.

If you own an Android smartphone, then you can opt for Todoist, Any.do, or GTasks. For iPhone, you can use Sunrise or Digical for free.

Thanks to the easy to use systems inside of these apps, one can easily add all of his tasks into the app, and keep track of the progress, deadlines, and changes made.

So, let’s say you need to compose a successful college application essay, insert this task as a block into the system, set a deadline, and make sure to meet all the deadlines there. This will keep you organized and let you see how much time you have as well as when you can catch a break and have some social life.

  1. Don’t procrastinate.

You might be losing interest now because saying no to procrastination sounds really dull.

The thing is that 85-95% of all students have issues with procrastination. The main causes of procrastination are anxiety, rebellion, and low frustration levels.

The consequences of this habit are horrible. According to the same source, around 40% of people that procrastinate were affected by the significant financial loss, while others sleep less, eat poorly, and feel stressed which damages their health in many ways.

So, if you cut procrastination out of your daily schedule, you will have much more time to deal with your responsibilities and have more things done, so that by the end of the day you will be able to spend time with friends and family.

  1. Do not engage in too many different activities.

Being a student involves working a lot. Being a good student involves even more work. However, extracurricular activities can be overwhelming. They take your time and sometimes bring no fruit at all.

So, if you feel overwhelmed or tired, then you might want to overlook all the extra activities you have – and maybe even say “No” to some of them.

Bear your primary goal in mind – and see whether this activity can help you achieve it in any way. If not, then you know what to do.

  1. Work during the day.

There is a theory that some people work better at night. But you know what? Many scholars disagree with this theory claiming that it is misleading and is true in no way.

Our brain might function better during some times, but it does not mean that it only works well during those short periods.

So, even if you support the theory, you need to take another look at it. You might be surprised by how well you work even during the day.

Besides, such an approach can affect your social life: whom will you spend with if you only have time during the busy working hours?

  1. Study with friends.

Okay, even if you tried everything, and still do not have enough time to socialize, maybe you can start studying with friends. Grab your books, go to the library, or get some snacks and stay in the dorm – it does not really matter where you go. You just need some time with friends.

You will not study the whole time, so in between the study sessions, you will be able to grab a bite and talk. Not only this will compensate you for the lack of time with the dear ones but can also help you study better (you can help each other if needed) and let your brain rest when you do not study.

It is even scientifically proven, that we refresh the best when we spend time with the ones we love. So, why not trying?

The only thing: make sure to actually study when in the company of your dear ones, because we know how time can fly when you get into talking instead of working.

  1. Join the gym.

Another way of having the social life is in being at places where you can actually meet people. The gym is one of such places.

It will keep you healthy (which is a great plus considering your sedentary lifestyle) and will help you meet new folks. Who knows maybe one day you will become best buddies after running for hours next to each other.

So, the next time you go to the gym, do not rush to put your headphones on, but take a look around and see whom you can talk to while working out.

  1. Find a job on campus.

Money is a tough issue for most students. We do not even go into all the pain of the student loans and everything.

So, no wonder most students work. Work takes up a significant amount of time. So, if you want to have time to socialize, consider finding a place on campus. You will save time on transport and be able to see your friends during some breaks (it depends on the type of job you opt for).

The balance between work and study can be a rather tough issue. Many young people find it hard to handle so many things. But if you do not want to waste the best years of your life and have it all – the grades and social life – then you will have to figure out a way to implement our tips.
