Changes I’m Making in My Life Right Now

Changes I’m Making in My Life Right Now

There are a lot of lifestyle changes and alterations that I feel will benefit me this year. And that’s why I’ve decided to take a fresh approach to life in 2016. There are changes I’m making in my life right now that will enrich my existence. And I feel they are important to me, so I’m going to share some of them with you right now.

Keeping Fit

Changes are vital for progress, and that’s why you need to look at making changes in your life wherever you can. And for me, one of the most important ones is to focus on keeping fit. I know we all set out wanting to do this, and very few of us stick to it. But, I need to be disciplined about it, and if I come up with an exercise routine, I think I’ll be okay. Keeping fit is important for health as well as physical appearance so it’s something I’ll be taking very seriously.

Replacing Stuff in the Home

In my life, there are a lot of changes that I want to make, but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of time to make them. Like everyone else, I have plenty of stuff around the home that I want to change or do work on. For instance, I want to build an extension, get some external shutters, and, eventually, put a pool in. There are plenty of other things as well, and I know these are going to take time to achieve. So that’s why I’m starting as soon as I can with these changes and additions. Replacing old stuff in the home and updating it for newer stuff is the key to improving the home and making it more appealing.

Going on More Trips

One of the things that I haven’t done nearly enough of in my life is traveling. We all know how crucial this is for broadening your mind and experiences. Travel is essential for experiencing other cultures and understanding how the world works. I love going abroad, but I don’t get to do it nearly as much as I would like to. So this year I’ve decided I’m going to take more trips and see how I get on. There are so many different places in the world that I want to go to and things I want to do. So I have planned out some trips for the year already, and I’m sure there will be more to come.

Aiming for That Promotion

A lot of people these days are stuck in careers they don’t enjoy just because they don’t like change. If you’re unhappy in your career, you need to do something about it. Fortunately, I am very satisfied with my career and am looking to progress up the ranks. So that’s why I will be aiming for a promotion this year. I feel that anyone in a career they love should look to progress and better themselves, and this can be achievable. You just need to think about how to achieve the promotion you’re after and strive to get to where you want to be.

Learning to Cook

There are certain things in my life that I’ve always wanted to learn or get better at. Particular life skills that I feel like I need to have and should work on. And one of the principal ones is learning how to cook. This is something I’ve wanted to be able to do for a long while but have never taken the time to learn. So as we’ve entered a fresh year I feel it’s time I learnt how! Cooking is a valuable life skill for becoming self-reliant and looking after oneself. I also think it’s important in a domestic and personal sense for making me more attractive to the opposite sex!

Getting a Bit of Culture

This year is one I am looking at as an opportunity to get a bit more culture into my life. This is a personal preference of mine and one that I’m working towards accomplishing. There are two things I’ve started to do to help my achieve this. The first is that I’ve started to attend more sophisticated events such as the ballet, theatre and art galleries. And the other thing I’ve started to do is to learn another language. Broadening my mind and getting a bit more sophistication is the key to adding culture to my life.

Trust me, it’s important to make changes that are not just physical, but emotional too. It’s important to have some positivity in life and not enough people have this. So you need to make sure you do what you can to become more of a positive person. I have decided to start reading books and using techniques to increase my positivity. Looking at the world through rose-tinted glasses is what we should all try to do. And the key to getting to this stage is to try to be as positive as you possibly can.

Trying Out a New Style

I have never been one to shy away from fashion trends and to express myself through clothes. I’ve always had my own style that has been with me throughout the years. And I feel it could now be time to change things and try out a new style. Having a style and taste is important because it can help to project your personality and tells people a bit about who you are. So, I will be thinking hard about the sort of style I want to cultivate this year. One thing’s for sure, whatever it is I’m going to embrace it with both hands.

I am really dedicated to turning over a new leaf this year and working towards a new me. There are so many things that I could do to achieve this, and I’ve decided to share some of them with you. You need to make sure you embrace changes in your life and use them to achieve a new and improved you. There are so many different things you could do to make changes in your life. Just think about what your life is currently like, and where you feel it could be improved.

  1. Rachael, your ideas are inspiring me to turn over a new leaf! I need to break free of the person who I have become, because there can be an even better person that I can be. Locked in each and everyone of us is the potential for vast improvement, but all to often we forget who we are, settle for second best. Each of your lifestyle changes are obtainable, easily doable with just a few tweaks! Love your creativity and positivity!
    Thank you for sharing!

    1. Troy, thank you so much for the feedback! You are so right when you say we “settle.” There is always room for improvement but it is also easy to become content in our everyday ways. I am glad to hear you are inspired. Having the right attitude can be the only change we need! Thank you!
