Crock-Pot Lemonade Chicken

Sauces are my favorite and I love any kind of recipe that involves a delicious sauce. Crock-pot lemonade has a very sweet taste, with a sour kick to it. Most of the ingredients might already be available in the cupboards, waiting to be used. If you’re wondering how to become a chef, there are loads of courses you can take online or check out some of your local resources.

Frozen chicken breasts work just fine to throw in the crock-pot. I would recommended cooking the chicken on low setting for 6-8 hours. Thawed chicken breasts work fine on high setting for 3-4 hours.

This is a meal that is great for anyone with a sweet tooth. Especially the kids!

Ingredients: Chicken breasts, lemonade concentrate, brown sugar, ketchup, corn starch, vinegar and cold water (not pictured)

Combine lemonade, brown sugar, ketchup, and vinegar in a bowl

Mix well and pour over chicken breasts

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours
Remove chicken from the slow cooker

Mix cornstarch and cold water together

Simmer the remainder of the sauce over medium heat on your stove top and add cornstarch mixture to the sauce, stirring until incorporated
Let sauce cook over medium heat until the sauce has thickened

Pour sauce over chicken and serve

I served mine with instant white rice
